St. Albert of Gambron Feast Day

Event date: 12/29/2017 Export event

St. Albert of Gambron was the Abbot and founder of the Benedictines. He was a courtier who became a hermit and then abbot-founder of a small abbey in France, at Gambon-sur-l'Authion.

One of our homes, in the Community Outreach and Disability Service ministry in Edmonton, adopted St. Albert as their patron saint, and renamed the house Albert's House, because the resident is also a quiet man who spends time alone and shares his birthday with St. Albert.
