Welcome Home program celebrates Christmas

Earlier this month, Welcome Home participants, volunteers, and staff gathered at St. Alphonsus Parish for their annual Christmas celebration. Eighty-five attendees celebrated the holidays with cookie decorating, Christmas carol guessing games, and a holiday-themed photo booth.

For individuals who have experienced homelessness, these opportunities to develop and deepen connections are critical to remaining housed and off the streets. The feeling of community was strong as attendees laughed their way through Christmas games and snapped photos of one another visiting with Santa.

A tremendous thank you to the (anonymous) Sign of Hope donors who gave $2,500 to the event, giving staff the opportunity to create the perfect holiday celebration for Welcome Home participants and volunteers!
