With a deep commitment to community service and a passion for uplifting those in need, Fr. Corrigan is an inspiring choice to lead this year’s initiative, themed "Your Generosity, Their Opportunity."
Father Corrigan is the pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic parish in Sherwood Park. He is also the vicar-general of The Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton.
The announcement of Fr. Corrigan as chair comes on the heels of a successful 2024 campaign that raised $3.22 million to support vulnerable individuals in Edmonton and central Alberta. The Sign of Hope Campaign encourages individuals and families to contribute to a brighter future for those struggling in the community.

Donations to CSS’ Sign of Hope goes towards programs that would otherwise not exist such as:
- providing necessities for the unhoused
- aiding women and families in crisis
- offering elder abuse resources and support
- assistance for newcomers
By highlighting the impact of generosity, Fr. Corrigan and the Sign of Hope team hope to foster a sense of shared responsibility and compassion among community members.
"Together, we can create opportunities for those who may be facing hardships," Fr. Corrigan stated. "Your generosity, no matter how small, can make a tremendous difference in someone’s life."
As the campaign unfolds, the community is encouraged to get involved, whether through donations, volunteering, or spreading awareness of the cause.
Together, we can turn generosity into opportunity and create lasting change.
