Q: Do I need to be Catholic in order to volunteer?

No, we value volunteers from all walks of life and appreciate every individual willing to dedicate their time and talents to fulfill our mission.

Q: I work or go to school at different times, are there opportunities to volunteer around my schedule?

We have various opportunities within our service areas, all of which have different requirements. Based on the information you provide, our Volunteer Services team will work with you and do our best to find a suitable position to match your interests and availability.

Q: Is there a minimum volunteer commitment?

We have short and long term volunteer positions available. Short term positions require a commitment of less than 3 months. The majority of our opportunities require volunteers to commit for a minimum of 6 months.

Q: How long will the volunteer application process take?

Here at CSS we want to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients and do have an extensive screening process. From the time of your application to placement usually takes between 4-6 weeks. For more information please contact Volunteer Services at (780) 432-1137.

Q: I am interested in volunteering at CSS, but I am more interested in employment. Is CSS hiring?
