Giving Tuesday

Too many Albertans go to bed hungry

Food shouldn’t be a luxury.

In the last few years, Alberta has held the unenviable title of having the highest percentage of households facing food insecurity of any Canadian province. In fact, one in five Albertans are experiencing some level of food insecurity daily.

YOU can change that by making a special donation to “Fill a Fridge for Sign of Hope” as part of our Giving Tuesday campaign.

Last year, Sign of Hope donors helped fill hundreds of fridges, and stomachs, with fresh food and groceries. Giving Tuesday is today. We need your support to offer struggling Albertans some much needed help. People in need include our neighbors, seniors, children, families with fixed or low incomes and those living in poverty or in crisis situations.

Please help Albertans struggling to feed their families by donating to Sign of Hope’s “Giving Tuesday - Fill a Fridge” campaign. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to feed Alberta’s most vulnerable.

For many, this may be the greatest gift they receive all year.
Gifts are nice, but having access to nutritious food daily is essential! Please donate to Fill a Fridge for Sign of Hope and help feed vulnerable individuals and families, right here in our community. Our “Fill a Fridge” campaign runs until December 4th – let’s fill as many fridges as we can.

Yes, I want to Fill a Fridge for someone in need

As always, thank you for your kindness and support.

Donations can also be made online at www.cssalberta.ca/signofhope,
