The Royal Alexandra Hospital Employees’ Charitable Donations Fund donates to charities that deal specifically with health and well-being in Edmonton and have some involvement with the Royal Alexandra Hospital. We are grateful to have received their support since 1985.
Their most recent grant was given to St. Joseph’s House, which provides safe shelter and 24-hour end-of-life care for terminally ill homeless adults with humility, compassion, and respect up to the final moments of a person’s life. The program also prepares the individual, family, and friends for the end-of-life journey and provides bereavement supports. Their contribution will be used to purchase and install ceiling tracking for three bedooms in the home.
