About Patricia Hinds
In 2001, Patricia emigrated from Guyana and has been a federal government accountant for the last seventeen years.
She received her Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Birmingham, England and became a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in 2011.
As an alumni of the Board Development Program of Alberta, Patricia delivered nine presentations to non-profit organizations throughout Alberta. She also did special presentations on Financial Literacy at the Edmonton Board Leadership Conference, the University of Alberta Non-profit Board Student Internship Program, and to several charities.
Patricia is passionate about her work as a director of the Millwoods Seniors Association (an organization that was co-founded by her mother Mary Marks) and plans to bring that energy to her role as director of the Catholic Social Services Organization.
She is the proud mother of three sons and two adorable grand daughters, is a sports addict and enjoys working as a tennis umpire.
