About Patricia Hinds
Patricia emigrated to Canada from Guyana in 2021. She received her Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Birmingham, England and became a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) in 2011. Patricia has worked as a federal government accountant for the last seventeen years.
As an alumni of the Board Development Program of Alberta, Patricia has delivered nine presentations to non-profit organizations throughout Alberta. She has also given special presentations on Financial Literacy at the Edmonton Board Leadership Conference, the University of Alberta Non-profit Board Student Internship Program, and, to several charities.
Patricia is passionate about her work as a director of the Millwoods Seniors Association (an organization that was co-founded by her mother, Mary Marks) and brings that same energy to her role as Director on Catholic Social Services’ Board.
