Joe Spelliscy - Chair


About Joe Spelliscy

Joe Spelliscy is a lawyer and partner with Duncan Craig, LLP. Joe has conducted numerous trials and Applications in our Court of King’s Bench in addition to a number of appearances in Alberta's Court of Appeal. Joe is a strong advocate of Alternative Dispute Resolution. He regularly represents clients in Judicial Dispute Resolutions, run by a Court of King’s Bench Justice, and Professional Mediations. Before returning to Law School in 1989, Joe worked for nearly five years in Alberta's Oil and Gas industry. He is the Co-Chair of Associate Development, Co-Chair of the Insurance and Risk Management Group, the former Chair of Duncan Craig LLP's Articling Committee. Joe was selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in Canada 2015 through 2024 for Insurance Law. Joe continues to volunteer his time and assistance to local charities and remains active in his community.
