Gianna Centre provides information, support, and advocacy to those who are facing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy.

Our goal is to promote the sanctity of human life, and protect the unborn as well as to help the mother/father who may be in distress. We also strive to provide support to women and their families who are experiencing a pregnancy crisis situation.

We offer free services and support that includes:

• Pregnancy tests
• Information about parenting, adoption, and abortion (risks etc.)
• Referrals to:
  • Pro-life doctors
  • Financial support
  • Housing options
  • Mercy Counselling (i.e. post-abortive)
• Maternity clothes
• Baby care items (formula, clothing, diapers, toys, blankets, furniture on occasion, etc.)
• Classes for expecting moms and new moms
• A holistic approach to sex education for youth based on the TeenSTAR* curriculum to parishes, youth groups and/or schools.
• Partnerships with groups with similar vision and mission across Alberta to promote the value of human life from the moment of conception.
