About Meghan DeRoo McConnan,

Meghan is a partner at Grant Thornton LLP where she leads the publicly listed companies, charities and not-for-profits industry teams in Northern Alberta. She has a Bachelor’s of Commerce Degree (University of Alberta) and received her CPA designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta in 2004.

She volunteers with MacEwan University, Newman Theological College and is a founding member of the NPO Collective. She has a passion for her community and is interested in using her skills to improve the governance and sustainability of the organizations she volunteers with. She is married with two kids and enjoys getting outside with her family whenever possible.
