About Geoff Wacowich
Geoff is an Executive Director with the Government of Alberta, where he has spent the last 25 years with the Alberta Public Service. His role within government is in the Technology and Innovation Ministry which is focused on making government services more accessible for Albertans – through both digital access and providing support for diverse populations that are underserved. Geoff is a caring leader who fosters an organizational culture that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion. Geoff has led complex initiatives across government and is focused on enabling change to bring about positive outcomes. He is experienced at working with different stakeholder groups – including communities, government agencies, and regulators.
Geoff has a Masters of Business Administration Degree specializing in Information Technology Management, a Computing Sciences Diploma with Honours, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA/CMA) Designation.
In addition to being a native Edmontonian, Geoff is a proud husband and father of two ECSD-educated children with his wife of 21 years.
