Civic Service Union 52 (CSU 52) represents technical, professional, administrative, and clerical workers within the City of Edmonton, Edmonton Public Library, TELUS World of Science – Edmonton, EPCOR, and Capital Power. It is committed to ensuring workers’ rights and improving working conditions for its members.
The organization’s Union 52 Benevolent Society has donated to Catholic Social Services since 1985. In 2018, it donated to Caring & Sharing in our Community Outreach and Disability Service. Caring & Sharing holds monthly events where adults with disabilities can get together, share significant moments from their lives, and celebrate their birthdays and holidays. The funds allow Caring & Sharing to purchase a variety of nutritious food and decorations for each event, as well as to hold a catered Christmas dinner for the attendees.
