Earlier this year, Norman Sande (third from left) and his fellow members from the Order of St. Lazarus attended the blessing of our Kairos House for people living with HIV/AIDS. The Order of St. Lazarus, which has been a supporter of Kairos House for many years, donated a special flag to commemorate the blessing.

Catholic Social Services offers our deepest condolences to the family of Norman Sande, who passed away on August 21, 2017.

Born on March 26, 1937, Norman was a member of the Order of St. Lazarus. He was also a tremendous supporter and benefactor for Catholic Social Services and our annual Sign of Hope appeal. In addition to donating financially, he also donated his time, as he once served as a member of the Sign of Hope Cabinet and Corp.

A celebration of his life was held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home.

Norman’s obituary can be read at Legacy.com.

We invite you to join us as we pray for the repose of Norman’s soul.
